Welcome to the leading film festival in Scandinavia. During eleven days we offer a film and seminar programme, our Nordic Film Market, two exciting international competitions ­ The Dragon Award and The Ingmar Bergman International Debut Award ­ concerts, performances and parties.

Industry Accreditation

Welcome to the largest film festival in Scandinavia! Over 11 days we screen 450 films from 70 countries, arrange seminars, parties, venues and events. Many of our activities are exclusively for the industry.


Industry accreditation costs SEK 950 (€ 105) if you apply before December 19, after that SEK 1150 (€ 125). The fee is paid in advance when the application is approved. Accreditation is personal and accompanied with a photo.

If you have not been accredited before, please submit a short presentation of your company and your commission at the festival to press@giff.se.




Accreditation includes the following:

All festival films
Once accredited you have access to all screenings. We have approximately 700 screenings of 450 films from 70 countries.

Workshops, master classes and works in progress
The festival has an encompassing seminar programme with about 50 debates, master classes, works in progress, discussions and meetings with filmmakers represented at the festival.

All festival events
Once accredited, you will have access to most activities, such as concerts, parties and award ceremonies.

Specific industry screenings
Once accredited, you can visit the specific industry screenings. Schedule, date and time will be sent later to all those who are accredited, as well as be available on our website.

Video room
Most of the films, you can also see in our video room at Hotel Riverton.

Industry and press office
Our industry and press office is located at Hotel Riverton. There you can collect your accreditation and ask questions.

Info centre
Adjacent to our main cinema, Draken, lies our information centre where you will find a special industry counter where you can address questions about the festival.

Industry lounge & Cocktails
In our festival centre Lagerhuset there is a VIP room designated for the industry, with coffee and wireless Internet. There you can work, have meetings, or just relax. This is also where the Industry Cocktails will take place.

Nordic Film Market
Upon receiving industry accreditation, you will have access to our international industry platform Nordic Film Market, where the Nordic and international film industry come together for four intensive days. (For more info about NFM and full market access accreditation, read here)

Industry guide
Once accredited, you will receive a festival guide with a map and schedule of all activities, as well as lists and contact information of all those accredited at the festival and the Nordic Film Market.
