Film fund film in competition in Sarajevo

Göteborg International Film Festival Fund is happy to announce that yet another project supported by the fund has turned in to a succesful film. Tomorrow, wednesday august 19, Romanian First of All Felicia will be screened in competition at the Sarajevo Film Festival.

Göteborg International Film Festival and the Sarajevo Film Festival have, since the beginning in 1995, been enjoying a frutiful cooperation. For several years, including this one, fund representatives have been participating in the Sarajevo co-production market Cinelink. In 2007 the Romanian project First of All Felicia received the Göteborg International Film Festival Fund Award. Today the film is back in town – in competition.

First of All Felicia is written and directed by acclaimed script writer Razvan Radulescu who, for his directorial debut, has been co-writing and directing together with Melissa de Raaf. The film tells the story of the young woman Felicia who faces the past when missing her flight back to the new home country Holland after a visit with her family in the old country Romania. The film will be screened at Göteborg International Film Festival 2010.
