The nominees for the international short film competition Dragon Award New Talent have been selected. Of the films given the highest rating by the audience, the jury members have chosen their three favourites.
The Dragon Award New Talent is a new on-line competition. In total a number of 85 short films from all over the world, with a maximum length of ten minutes were uploaded.
The nominees are:
Du ritar fult
by Victor Danell, Sweden
A Difference in Shadow
by Michael Mier, Australia
Oh helga natt
by Niklas Andersson, Sweden
The jury wants to give a special mention to the film Signs, by Patrick Hughes from Australia. In spite of the maximum length rule, the filmmaker succeeded in entering the competition and stole the hearts and votes of the audience.
The winner will be awarded during the Dragon Award Gala on February 6. The nominated films will be screened during the gala evening.
The Dragon Award New Talent is a cooperation between Göteborg International Film Festival, the advertising agency SCP, the web agency Nute and the streaming partner Kaigan.
