Party, film and book fair!
Göteborg Book Fair is the film festival's official start for the 2012 festival. Next weekend, it happens a lot of fun you are all welcome to: the unveiling of the festival poster, workshop and pre screening of the movie "Simon och ekarna" and the opening party that we organize together with Glänta.
Friday 23 September at 15.00 CET we unveile Ann-Sofi Sidén's festival poster at the Book Fair. We also present two new books published by the festival: Amanda Ooms stafettbok and Hynek Pallas dissertation about whiteness in Swedish film.

Press conference and unveiling of the 2012 festival poster along with artist Ann-Sofi Sidén.
20:00 to 3:00 the Great Theatre. Big Party.
On stage: Viktor Mäntyranta & His Love Sick and Drifting One Man Orchestra and 3D
At the turntables: Dj Bike Bonkers + writers Mara Lee, Aleksander Motturi, Linda soothsayer, Hynek Pallas, John Anyuru and Amanda Ooms.

A conversation between director Lisa Ohlin and film critic Andrea Reuter.
Sunday 25/9
17.30. Bio Roy
Pre-screening of "Simon och ekarna". After the film there will be a conversation between the festival's artistic director Marit Kapla and director Lisa Ohlin.
