Film Festival Party

This year, Pustervik will host The Film Festival Party – the big opening gala for festival visitors that is widely considered the best night out of the year in our fair city. Our party producers have worked harder than ever to come up with a tailor-made programme, featuring something for everyone.

Hagabion

Hagabion confirms its position as a festival stronghold by evolving into a Festival Bar, cinema and location for breakfast screenings and art exhibitions. The opening film Kon-Tiki is based on the journey of Norwegian explorer Thor Heyerdahl who crossed the Pacific in a custom-built raft. The original documentary about the expedition will be screened at Hagabion, introduced by Norwegian Kon-Tiki expert Halfdan Tangen at 12 Noon. Hagabion will also host a photo exhibition on the subject.
